Catherine Wiley, is the Founder of the Catholic Grandparents Association (CGA), a Private Association of the Faithful, which was established in 2002.
A devout Catholic, Catherine is passionate about passing on her faith to the next generations. She also has a desire to help other Grandparents to pass on their faith. This is what led her to founding the Catholic Grandparents Association (CGA).
Catherine is a regular contributor to radio and television shows. She also presents at conferences and events around the world including the the World Meeting of Families, the International Eucharistic Congress and events on family hosted by the Vatican.
Catherine was born in Co Mayo, in the West of Ireland. She is the mother of four children and Grandmother of ten Grandchildren.
She holds degrees in psychology and counselling from Westminster University.
With her husband of fifty years, Stewart, Catherine pioneered and operated American-style summer camps and English language schools linked with the curriculum for forty years.
Catherine has also been instrumental in a great deal of humanitarian work in Romania, Cambodia and India. She has enabled the building of facilities and churches in several countries.
